Play for a Purpose. Win for the Community.
What to Expect
Join fellow PWX 2027 Phoenix supporters for a fun, social Texas Hold’em–style poker fundraiser benefiting the APWA Arizona Host Committee. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just in it for the networking, this lighthearted evening is all about connection, fundraising, and fun.
How it Works
Our poker night combines friendly competition with community impact.
Players receive poker chips with their entry donation and can exchange chips for raffle tickets during the event. With no cash payouts and a focus on prizes and participation, the evening is welcoming, lighthearted, and open to all experience levels.
-
Participants make a donation to enter the tournament (anticipated buy-in: $50–$75).
Each buy-in includes a set amount of poker chips to start play.
Optional chip rebuys (e.g., $20) will be available during the first portion of the event to keep the action going and boost fundraising.
-
Texas Hold’em–style tournament format.
Chips are used for gameplay only — there are no cash payouts.
Designed for fun, friendly competition and networking.
-
Players may exchange poker chips for raffle tickets throughout the event.
Raffle drawings will take place at the end of the evening.
This creates multiple ways to participate and win, regardless of poker skill.
